I'm attempting to help someone unbrick his wii. This is what I got out of him so far. He has no priiloader installed. He was able to find a bootmii folder (dont know if its installed as boot2 or not) but the only thing that he can come up with as far as a NAND backup are some files named NAND with an extension that I never heard of.
"i have got nand.c nand.d nand.h and nand.o"
What the heck is the .c .d .h and .o?
If these filles are usless then I'm going to point him to ShadowSonic2's guide to see where he gets. And if that doesn't work I guess the only option is for him to get a SaveMii dongle or to use the SaveMiiFrii method. Has anyone tried the SaveMiiFrii method BTW?
Well, anything with the extension .c is normally a source code file of a C program. Anything with .h is a C source code file which is included with the .c source file if I recall correctly. And if I recall correctyle, .o is made by the dynamic linker. NAND dumps made by bootmii shoud have the .bin extension (keys.bin and nand.bin). Anyway, when booting, look how many times the disc light flashes. If it flashes twice, you have bootmii as boot2.
How de he brick it by the way? Is it a banner brick or a full brick?
Awesome sig picture does not work
