Uhhh, no. You need an sd card or usb device. Wherever the roms folder is, there should be a saves folder as well.

I have a saves folder in the snes9x folder, also in the apps folder and I also put one in the root of the SD card, when it tries to save it says cant open or create file.

Do I have to edit an INI or something???? Or is there some place I can read up on it?? I been reading wiibrew.org, but to no effect....

The one with the boot.dol goes in the apps folder
    sd:/apps/snes9x/boot.dol
