I have a theory in need of confirmation...(Semi-Bricked Wii)

A few months ago, I bricked my Wii by being a general putz and resetting the system menu (Yeah, yeah, I know I'm an idiot ). Now, back then I didn't think much of it. Stuff happens, I told myself. But nowadays I kinda miss the old girl, so after a bit of research I learned that my Wii was only semi-bricked (unless I've been misled, my Wii turns on, but nothing happens and a black screen just hangs), and that there are semi-brick fix discs I can obtain. My question is this, and it may seem rather trivial: How do I get the data for a Fix Disc onto a disc, and what disc should I use? (CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R, etc.)

If I am wrong on any of this information, please do not hesitate to correct me.

Do you have ANY brick protection at all... bootmii installed as boot 2... priiloader?

Im assuming you have a softmodded wii...

Softmodded, yes. It was an older model of Wii that I bought at launch.

I am pretty sure I installed boot2 before it bricked.

if you switch it on, do you get 1 or 2 flashes? 2 means bootmii in boot2. With that you can easily unbrick it

If you have bootmii installed, do you by chance have a backup of your NAND?

Nand backup makes life a bit easier but is not necessary when you have bootmii installed in boot2. It is so easy to unbrick a wii with bootmii in boot2 with all the different tools available using cboot2 technics...

If you mean the LED disc slot light, then I get two flashes in quick succession.

Does the blue drive light flash two times when you turn on the wii? (this means you have bootmii as boot2). Do you have a NAND backup?

Do you have priiloader installed? (when booting the wii hold the reset button for 5 seconds and priiloader will start, if you installed it).

Check out the stickys in the bricked wii section.

EDIT: sorry, I didn't see the replys above.

So what's the good word? I apparently do have boot2 installed, what should my next step be? Any links to a topic with a guide?

Do you know what system menu you were on before you bricked? If so see below.

Bootmii/boot2, No NAND backup? Solution here.

As I mentioned check out the stickys in the Bricked wii section.
    Damn I suck!!!!
