Does "cut off" mean turned off and then turned on? Did you check the batteries? Did you try to resync them?

Yeah, i turned it off and about 30 mins later back on.i've tried resyncing but it's a no go. The controller just keeps looking for the system and i did check the batteries they're just fine. i even checked and made sure the sensor bar was still plugged in.

And the sensor bar, you have a direct line-of-sight on it with the wiimote? Did you install IOS 249 Rev 19 by chance? I mean, is your Wii softmodded? What guide did you follow? And do you have a GC controller to try by chance? Those things along with possible blue tooth module being bad could all be possibilities; best to narrow it down some, eh?

Well i was attempting to soft mod it with this guide: http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...tem-menus.html
i'm pretty sure i didn't install IOS 249 rev 19. and i already tried a GC controller (if that stands for gamecube).

AFAIK, our guides either use Rev 14 or 17 (Shadow Sonic was working on updating his guide last weekend, dunno if implemented as yet). Do the lights on the lower section of the wiimote light up (like the left-most of the four) or simply flash, or turn off?

They all just keep flashing and then go off after they don't connect with anything. And if i try to sync it just keeps going on and going on.

Try to hold the red bottom on the wii for 30 sec. Then reboot it, and push the red button on the wii, then the red botton on the wiimote.

You only installed HBC, dvdx- or did you do the whole guide?
