Bricked My Wii Somehow...
Hello everyone, I am new to the Wii-modding community and I screwed something up...
I just got a Wii today and ran the hack to add the homebrew channel (done successfully).
Then I followed guides to install BootMii (only as an IOS) and Preloader. After that was done successfully, I installed (I am not definite) but IOS36 trucha patches. After that, I got a "glitchy-looking" [System files are corrupted] message. I then don't quite remember what happened, but I upgraded my Preloader up to 0.3, and now it can't find my system menu. I do have access to the HBC and BootMii (only problem is it says my bin file is for a "different operating system"). What can I do to get back on track? I have no idea on how much of these things work, and I just got this Wii today
Thanks in advance to you all!
Some kind of guide you followed there, installing preloader first? well since we know that guide wasn't here, did you ask the question where you got the guide?

Sorry, I just realized I posted this in the wrong forum, and should go under the "Bricked Wii" section.
I followed Wiibrew's guide here:

Moved to proper forum, but closed thread as is well-known problem and solution. OP: please post within the linked thread if you don't understand maufrog's solution.
