d2pro9 help me
Ok now I install the d2pro9 plus wii-clip install went easy I turned it on and the red light flashed then the blue light like i seen in a video. So I put it back together and now nothing plays original or backups.Any ideas?
Ok so I took it apart again.I notice when the disk was in the drive and I turned it on the red and blue would flash then flash again like 3 or 4 times. So I took the disk out turn the wii on waited for everything to load and put the original disk in and bam it worked. So I have to start my wii then put the disk in is tis normal? But as for my back up it says eject the disk turn off the wii and read the owners manual or something like that.any ideas?Do I have to install any software or is the chip already to go?I got the chip at modchipcentral.
you should install the gecko os app into the homebrew channel, as that will read trucha signed discs (possibly the reason why they wii system menu tells you to eject and turn off) i have one game that only works through gecko os and i have to put the disc in after i have started the homebrew channel

the wwi clip solder points are gnd,3v3,g,h,j and clk.And from what I have read that is suppose to be correct.
Any other ideas I can try.
Also thank you for helping me out
what version of system menu?
go to wii options from wii menu, settings, and it should appear on first screen i believe.
here is a link to a youtube video i made

If I leave the original disk in it gives me an eject screen. But if you let it start and then put it in it will play originals but not back ups

What is the drive type of your wii (DMS/D2A/D2B, D2C, D2C2 or D2E)? What version of the D2pro9 do you have (v2 or v3)?
D2b i think its a v3 i ordered it from modchipcentral this what i ordered.
D2Pro9 V2 / V3 Bundle (D2Pro9 V3 + V4C WiiClip + Triwing Screwdriver)
Soldered Together: Yes
Wii Chipset: DMS / D2A / D2B

I think that may be the issue, I believe the D2pro9v3 was specifically for the D2E and the D2pro9v2 for the others. Also the D2B (and also D2A & DMS) only require 5 points to be soldered on the WiiClip. I will try to find the thread that discusses this. You may also want to look in the D2Pro9 section.
Edit: check out the following threads
