    hdmi problem

For the sake of this argument I will say my ps3 when infact it is my cousins.

So I just got a ps3 and hooked it up to my dads ps3 and I adjusted the settings so it would compatible with the hd t.v.

Then I took it back to my house were I dont have a hd house and used the regular av cables and it doesnt work, is there a way I could play my ps3 at my house?

I think you have to hold the power button until you hear 2 beeps after about 20 seconds. I don't remember for sure but I'm sure GOOGLE would be more than happy to answer this for you.

Correct me if I'm wrong but HD won't go over AV cables. I don't have a PS3 but I'd imagine that it isn't auto output sensing and if you've told it to output to HDMI then that's what it will do until otherwise.

It's like my PC, I have it set up to use D-sub. If I go plugging in DVI then it just won't display until I adjust the setting on my cards output.

I'm surprised though that the HDTV in question is not AV compatible, I thought they accepted just about every from of current input.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

It comes with AV cables, and you have to buy your own HDMI cable. It stinks when you have to move the system from HD to NON HD tv because you have to change wires, AND mess with the system to get any video on the screen.
