    Western digital HDD question

i formatted the whole hd to fat32 using easus partition and have been for a long time , i got 52 games on it. I was wondering how to access the files in it using vista. I want to install wiiware and need to access and create new files for triforce, but my computer nor the software that came with the WD hdd is recognizing it. I know its because the format fat32, but is there anything i can do to access the files.

Your computer will read FAT32 no problem. So are you sure you formatted it to that?

    Are you thinking of WBFS?
    Damn I suck!!!!

FAT32- Open My Computer and click on your FAT32 partiton.

WBFS. You can't. You need WBFS Manager.

If it is fat32 windows should recognize it. You should be able to plug it in and open My Computer as stated. It will be listed along with your pc's drives/partitions. It sounds like you may have locked it, if you can see it but not access it. I did that with mine but in wbfs format. Sadly there was no easy fix for me and I hadn't backed up my games so.... I had to reformat and styart all over or be willing to leave over 100 GB of free space unused.

wbfs manager or wbfs GUI are recommended. I like GUI as it has more options as far as extraction and such.

You must use a manager. Windows will not recognize WBFS format therfor you can't open and browse it like you can NTFS or FAT.

No offense but maybe if someone else says it again, you'll get it
