just to inform whoever is bored enough to read this on my epic progress of trying-to-not-brick-my-brand-new-today-bought-wii-while-following-a-guide-that-will-supposedly-enable-me-to-play-backup-copies-of-games (if thats what you call pirated games these days ^^)

anyway, i managed to fail between steps 1.b and 1.c because my beloved Wii doesnt like my cards. well, the two that are big enough arent good enough obviously, and the one it can read is 250M. i can hear the sweet voices whispering me the poisonus words of the wii-to-brick making demon: "dont make a backup, you dont need itttttt"... but i dont wanna make my Wii a brick :<

blah, now im beeing annoying and caling friends around if anyone got an SD card bigger than 512M that i could borrow for a day xD

Go out and get a 2GB Scandisc SD card. They cost about the same as eating at McDonalds. You'll need one eventually anyways. If you have any other problems post them in the relevant section of the forum as this section is only for introductions. Welcome!
