Solution: Playing No More Heroes 2 (NTSC on PAL)
I've made a little guide for those who are having trouble getting this game to work on their PAL systems
1. Extract the main.dol to your desktop using trucha
2. Open GenericWiiPatcher and browse to the main.dol you just extracted
3. Click "Search" in the video modes menu, then click "NTSC-2-PAL"
4. Click Save (You must click save otherwise your changes will not be made)
5. Open trucha, and replace main.dol in the ISO, with the one you just patched
6. Right click the partition, in trucha, and click "Trucha Sign It!"
7. Run WiiBrickBlocker on the ISO
8. Run Regionfrii, change the region to PAL and hit patch
Done. Load the game back to your WBFS drive, it will still say it's an NTSC game. In your loader on the wii, force PAL50 and it should work fine. I haven't tested PAL60 but you can try that too.
All required files can be downloaded here. I've also included step by step images. To be honest I'm not sure if step 7 and 8 are required, if it doesn't work without them then go ahead and do it. I have not included BrickBlocker and regionfrii in the download as they can be found everywhere
This method does not work with Okami, I've been trying to get that game working for ages. Let me know how it goes

I'm not sure, I use USB Loader GX (Personally I think it's so much better) there should be a setting for video mode. It might be on "System default" or "Autopatch" by default, change it to PAL
yea found it but when i choose it a msg appears in black background with alot of numbers like x12010230494391 and the thing which i saw is that it says "dump" in the middle
no idea why it appears
Can you try using USB Loader GX? See if it says the same thing. If it does, then repeat the steps again but instead of clicking "NTSC-2-PAL" click "Advanced" and then a list of video modes come up, right click every single one and switch them to PAL 576i (Interlaced)
I don't think you should have to do it again though. Mine worked fine with the steps I've mentioned in the first post, and I tested it on both my wiis with two fresh ISOs
lol i downloaded a new iso. Now i'll do the exact thing...and hopefully it'll work. i just wanted to ask that when i click "advance" and do all that do i switch to NTSCtoPAL again? or just dont do it?
You can click NTSC-2-PAL first then click advanced, won't really make a difference to be honest. But yeah when you go into advanced, change all the the video modes to PAL 576i then make sure you hit save, and use trucha to replace the file and sign the partition.
Then in your loader, make sure to force PAL 50 / 60
Omg i don't have PAL 50 or 60... i go to region options and put PAL576i in the video option and it still gives me the same error. BTW im running the game using SD card and so i can't use usb loader GX as well :/
please help me out
Variam are you using component cables?
lol? what component cables? you mean the red, white and yellow once?
