    geexbox issuesi

    how come when i try to load geexbox i just get a black screen do i need to download anything to get it going all i got is the home brew channel and a usb loader so what am i doing wrong ?

    Is the GEEXBOX folder on the root of you sd card and the folder with the boot .dol in you apps folder. You need both.

    well i went to

    GeeXboX for Wii - Project Homepage

    and all i could find was

    GeeXboX for Wii (IOS)
    0.1beta2

    GeeXboX for Wii (MINI)
    0.1beta2

    but i did not find no boot .dol

    so where do i get the right file at that your talking about that has the boot .dol file in it?

    thanks i did a search on wiihacks before i asked and didn't really find nothing.

    I think there should be a Tutorial on mplayer and geexbox in the WiiHacks Tutorials section because i did not find one

    And where is boot.dol file i did not see it in there

    boot.elf in apps folder. sorry.

    ok i unplugged my hard drive and tried it and sometimes it boots up and sometimes it doesn't what files are required for this program to work?

    Why would you need one? You run the app, it works. Not much to fiddle with. Don't know about you but I find it's usefullness limited next to Mplayer CE.
    Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.
