    u can use regular 30awg wire.

    The AWG number determins the 'thickness' of the wire, I beileve the higher the number the thinner the wire. So what GModz is saying that when you go to buy the Wire the packaging will have a number with AWG and you want to buy the one that says 30 AWG.

    I actually used wire from an old ATA100 hard drive ribbon cable I had laying around. The wires separate very easily, and are super thin and easy to solder.

    umm its not a good idea to power the wii on and hold the wires to the points to see if it works....if u move u can short something and kill ur drive/chip
