have u tried the fix from little johnny?
I've been trying to install my d2pro9 v2 self solder on my d2c2 with a lot of failures. All of the problems have been that the DVD wouldn't eject back out after putting the DVD in.
I tried applying the long C wire trick this time on the install (http://www.wiihacks.com/d2pro9/4674-...blems-fix.html). It began to work at first for about 4-5 ejects then after that it gave me a black screen to eject the disc, turn off the power, and refer to manual.
I was roaming around wiinewz.com forums and noticed that people have soldered the C point directly to the leg instead of the one on the d2pro team diagram, should I give that a try or it doesn't matter? Also any other advice would be great.
i always solder the c directly to the IC, give it a shot, the long clk will help also. Johnnys trick works sometimes also.

are you sure none of your points are touching? i was getting the same error b/c my D point had come off and was crossing some pins
Nah, none of the points are touching, checked many times for that. I'll probably try Little Johnny's fix for alternate D E F points and 1.5v fix.
Question about Little Johnny's 1.5v fix. Do you have to use the other alternate ground point if you apply the 1.5v point or is it fine with just default ground point on the d2pro.com diagram?
default ground point is fine
I'm having the same problem with the D2Pro9 + Wii Clip I just installed in my Wii. It worked OK for the first few times I used it after being chipped. Now, when it does load a disc (any), it won't recognize it, just presents the black screen with instructions that was mentioned above. Also, I have to cycle the power several times to get the disc to eject. And these are original game discs, not copies.
Any ideas? I feel like I just wasted my $80 on this chip and other than trying to reseat the chip, I don't know what else I can do?
