Thread: USB Loader question.

  1. #1

    USB Loader question.

I have been burning ISO's to disc as well as putting them on a hdd until I get everything figured out. With neogamma I have finally got my settings right that all the games play great. Now when I take the same ISO and put it on my hdd some of the games come up fluzzy. I was able to fix this with neogamma but haven't seen any settings on the usb loader. Also when I start my usb loader it says error loading 236 and then loading 36 or something close to this. Any Idea's on these? TIA, 03Ultra

Not 100% sure what you mean on this, could you give an example? If I were to guess right off the bat, it would be that your loading out of reigion games (IE loading a Pal game on NTSC, etc) Shoot an example or two and might give myself and others a better idea.

ya most of them are pal game on ntsc system but with neogamma I have it set to play both. Is there a way to do this with usb loader? Most the games that I find are pal.

Check tutorials under usb compatability. There are also guides explaining the settings menu for the varios loaders. It may be the HDD, it may be the loader you have installed, it may be a simole setting. Hard to diagnose with so little iformation though. Your system menu and mod will help too.

As Floor said, What System Version are you on, which cios have you installed, and which USB loader are you trying to use?

Myself I personally use GX before I got the Wode, with cIOS rev 14. If possible going up to cIOS 38 rev17 would be recommended as well.

Okay 4.2u is most likely your issue. 4.2 disabled out of region play, and probably undid a lot of your soft mods. Check ShadowSonic2's 4.2 guide in the guides section, get that all applied (if you havent already) and I think you'll have a lot better sucess.

X2 I updated to 4.2 before finding this site. The 2 links in my signature should get you going. If your mod is fine just do the usb one.

Remember to check if your HDD is compatable before anything.

got it. I just needed to go into usb gx loader settings and force ntsc. now I just need to figure out how to get the game images to come up when I start up usb loader. I'm using wbfs manager to load the iso. I'm guessing the .sfv file in the zip files is the game image.
