    Verified, I just downloaded 1.24 update and got another version of cooking mama 2 (eur PAL) version and still ended up with the same problem.

    Please provide information so that we may help you.

    Wii details like;
    What is your region?
    Firmware version.
    What is the game region - PAL I gather.

    What are your WODE settings.

    It is known that Cooking Mama 2 has big differencies between PAL and NTSC versions. I'd recommend getting Cooking Mama 2 version same as your console. (Keep in mind that USA NTSC ≠ JAP NTSC.)

    hey guys, I got my answers here for the problem. It seems that wode couldn't deal with the region if u have a 4.2... so needed to get gecko.

    the answers are posted here and it worked %100

    Set to enable region patch and it will work.

    Not if the Wii is updated to 4.2.

    If your Wii is 4.2 no out of region games will work. NONE not one. That sad fact has nothing to do with the WODE it is to do with the way that Nintendo use to check for region with the 4.2 Wii.

    To play out of region games with the WODE and a 4.2 Wii Gecko is a quick and easy fix.
