    Formatting to wbfs

I got the wbfs manager installed and when I go to format, it comes up with an error has occurred, and won't format any ideas?

Have you selected the right drive and not one that is active? ie make sure it is not one of your other USB drives like SD card reader or MP3 player that you are selecting.

Is it currently formatted to another OS format, NTFS or FAT32 at the moment?

Is it a new drive and not yet partitioned within windows and therefore yet to be given a letter?

    More info would be good.
Please remember your manners - say Thank You if someone helped , it doesn't hurt

another thing to look at, if your running windows vista, you need to right click the wbfs manager file and run as administrator to get it to work properly.

"An error occurred while attempting to format the drive." I have a 640 gb drive it's partitioned in 2 partitions 420gb and 220 and both of them get the same error.

Are they assigned a drive letter in Windows?

    Which OS are you using?

What did you use to partition them?

I did that but it's still coming up with the same error. I'm not sure what I did wrong....
