If you can't then you can't. Nothing you can do. In August (or thereabouts) 2008 Nintendo fixed the vunerable boot1, since then all Wiis can only use the Bootmii/IOS, which offers some features but not the almost unbrickable features of the all powerful bootmii/boot2.

So only solution is to buy a really old Wii.

Just because someone has only 6 posts does not mean they are inept or unknowledgeable. Besides which his/her statement is 100% correct.

You can't uninstall boot1, it's read only and cannot be changed. boot2 can only be changed on older Wiis with the vunerable boot1, that's why Nintendo cannot ever stop people installing bootmii/boot2 if they have a vunerable boot1.

If the installer says you cannot install bootmii/boot2 then you can't, there's nothing you can do about and no amount of questions will ever change that.

said buy the guy with 7 posts......

point one: Any more flaming and you wont be posting for a while.

point two: if you ARE going to flame someone, its a good idea to have even a slight clue as to what your talking about before you try.

You didnt install anything as boot 1, as its not possible. Boot 1 (Pre August '08) had a bug in it which allowed the installation of a modified boot 2. This was the fixed so that boot2 could no longer be written to, meaning that bootmii could only be installed as an IOS.

If your Wii had the vulnerable boot 1 , then you would be able to install bootmii as boot 2. If the only option you get when installing bootmii is to install as an IOS then its obvious that you have no vulnerable boot 1.

There is nothing you can do to change this, the bootmii installer will tell you where you can install bootmii.

EDIT: Damn you Tealc, beat me again, must buy speed typing lessons

Haha god your funny. because I dont post much it means I dont know about hacking wiis?

You should look more into boot1 and 2 how it works and what you have done so far. Bootmii.org explains a lot.

Ow and i know how to sync my wiimotes. Synced them to multiple wiis, my computer and laptop but havent manage to connect them with my mobile phone yet but i dont really see the point there.

edit: damn teal'c and davepm both beat me

You didn't install bootmii on boot1. (which is impossible, since boot1 isn't writable.) That message is telling you that your Wii CAME with a boot1 install that's blocking you. You can only install as IOS.

So, as MegaR put it, "not old enough apparently". And he's right.

Edit: Looks like several others got to this at the same time. :P
