It takes up HOW much memory!?

Is it just me or does anyone else feel a bit ripped off now they know how little memory they're wii games take up. I bought the new mario side scroller for 35 great british pounds (It's the britain that's great btw I don't just think my money's really good) and It only take up half a gig.

They could have put another 8 games on that disk!

Well I think when you get into that discussion you're weighing the intrinsic value of the quality versus the quantity of the material. There are other factors which contribute as well: Man-hours, equipment, production costs (minor as they may be), development. A number of each goes into every game produced. Whether that game ends up being shovelware, as is the case with many of the games on the Wii, or not is in the eye of the gamer. There was a time when we all paid nearly the same prices we do now, sometimes more, for 8/16 bit console games that measure only 100KB-5MB in size.

If you enjoyed the game you purchased, if it's something you're glad to have, then maybe it was worth it. If not you can always resell it.
