Thumbs up Bravo = Tons of info

This site was suggested to me by game stores sales representatives.
They were right there are tons of info.
I would even say a little to much for an apprentice father like me.

Anyhow, I am sure the infos i am looking for are in there but where?
I read for 25 hours. I probably learned much more then what I needed.
The worse, is that it is probably not clear enough or never an exact same issue. So what i have tried to do did not work. Now I must ask for help before I do something wrong.

    I have a Wii 2008 model RVL-001(USA) serial: LU3707.... that was version 3.3or 3.4U
I Hacked it with Homebreware softmode when it was brand new. It became a 3.2U
It worked find for more then a year but know I do not want to fool around with updates and different installations to keep up with the new games that needs more hacking. I am to old for the fancy PC stuff.
Now I would like to put it back into its original state to update it by Nintendo
I read the forum on putting back your wii to virgin
But I got stuck right away with the first step that refused to upload the title at the end of the procees of wininkoko 4.1
Then I read in enother forum that it had to do with the fact that I probably do not have ios60 patch and in enother that i should start by winikoko 4.0.

Now I said let stop since everything is still running good and lets try to ask for help.

So here I am,If someone feel like helping me up I will greatly appreciate.

Hello and welcome to the wiihacks community. If you do not want to be bothered with installing the occasional IOS that a new game might need, check out the WODE. Alternatively, a chipmod might be the right choice for you. A Wii seldom needs to be "virginized" except to send back to Nintendo for under warranty repairs.

You have joined the world’s largest Wii modding and forum community. To help you access the useful and relevant information available on this site, it is strongly recommended that you first look at this special site index: Wiihacks Ultimate Index.

Make sure you read the rules of this site. There are a number of tutorials and guides available to assist you. Many of our new members find the tutorials for softmodding any 3.1-4.1 Wii and any 4.2 Wii particularly useful. Make sure to either look through the site tutorials and guides or use the search function before asking questions. While the moderators, staff, and members of this community are willing to help you, some effort on your part to read, research, and follow the rules is expected. To get the best response to your question(s), post in the associated forum areas. This is very important as inappropriate posting could get you restricted to the reading room or even banned. If, after looking at the tutorials and trying to search, you still need help or just want to post a very basic type of question, go to the wiihacks-newbie-discussions Forum and talk with fellow members.

Wiihacks also has a chat room on irc:// . After reading the iRC rules, please feel free to join in the light-hearted chats and activities. While any IRC client can connect to #wiihacks on the UICN , there are tutorials to help you connect using either ChatZilla or mIRC.

If this site and our members have provided substantive help, you can Donate to the forum and get a nice banner under your name.

The current hot topic of the site = playing backup copies of the New Super Mario game: Enjoy your stay with us.
