    Wii Media Center X

This seems like a cool idea, but I'm not sure how well it works. Can someone with a Wii try this out? http://www.redkawa.com/mediacenters/wiimediacenterx/

Thanks for the link. I don't have a wii yet but, if I do get one soon I will be sure to try it out. Looks like the wii will do a little more then many suspected.

I'm downloading the software now to give it a try... I'll keep you posted on how well it works.

Well I just loaded the software, but it seems that most of the features that are advertised are now yet functional on the wii. It works nicely as an internet media streamer and it appears as if once it is fully developed for the wii it will be a really cool system. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I just tried it too on Firefox so I wouldn't know how nice it looks on the Wii's Opera browser. The Windows Media Center is nicely implemented. Since the application is in alpha stage I won't complain too much. I'd like to see ability to change the photos, music, etc. folders to a user specified location, though. The music applet seems way too small for TV. Overall, lack of functionality at this point lead me to uninstall it.

not really a video player more a flv player.

    From looking :-
Wii Media Center X lets you stream and watch videos in the Flash video format (FLV) on your Wii.

Not really the solution I was looking for.
