Game managers dont work - GOING INSANE
WBFS manager 3.0 was running perfectly fine yesterday. No problems at all. I wake up today, fire it up, and it says "WBFS Manager has stopped working". I've run it as administrator, same thing, various compatibility modes, same thing. I've even tried version 3.5 and a whole other program - Wii Game Manager. All have the same result. It was working perfectly fine yesterday. Any ideas?
here are the details on why 3.0 "stopped working"

This may seem like a stupid question but... did you try reinstalling it?
What OS are you using?
Is it a 32 or 64 bit OS?
Sometimes something as stupid as a computer restart fixes things like that.
Also, is the HD hooked up to the PC when you try to start it and powered on?
At times, the program could be looking for a specific set of values from last time it was used. So, you should try emulating the same conditions as when you used it last.
I got it working. On windows start up i hit f8 and went into the recovery option. i then restored to a previous date (3 days ago) and it worked. The only thing I installed in that time frame was Avira Antivirus. It had removed something that made the managers work I guess.
This is why I hate windows, it assumes you're too stupid to maintain your computer yourself and makes decisions for you. I'm thinking of going back to linux.
anyway, i'm on windows 7 ultimate 32 bit version.
LOL, your not the first person I have heard of wanting to "go back" to Linux. In truth, Windows 7 is the best windows they have produced so far, it's all in the options though. It's got the same stability as XP, and it's light years above Vista. I have heard that the 64 bit version does a beautiful job of emulating a 32 bit system with no compatibility issues. Anyway, I'm glad you got it working.
I'd have to agree that 7 is by far the best windows yet, i just don't like their whole philosphy. I like that nothing will go wrong with linux unless *you* mess it up. instead of some program, or windows itself, makes decisions for you and screws everything up. The only reason I installed Windows was for counter strike 1.6 believe it or not. Grass is always greener on the other side, I guess.

Like when anything automatically makes exceptions to the firewalls, or runs as an administrator or any such thing. Your a man who likes his personal responsibility though, I can't agree with you more.
