Be sure to block disk updates with starpatch. With the correct display settings in neogamma, usually force ntsc, or system default, you should not have any issue playing a pal game. The only risk to your wii is from a disk update, so even if it won't load, it should not hurt your wii. Most out of region games will give you no issue, some will so if possible use games in your region.

You shouldn't have any problems with PAL games. There is an option to force region in your loader anyway.

i did put skip/block disc update in starpatch, just sometimes hard finding NTSC version of a game i might want and i usually find lots of PAL versions. so all i do is force region in neo gamma then, thanks again for the responses

I have a Pal console and whenever i load a ntsc game it loads straight away with no problems or setting changes in usb loader and neogamma.

Maybe by default your setting is set to the console default. (Pal).
