Thread: To Scrub or not to Scrub ?

Arrow To Scrub or not to Scrub ?

I have recently soft-modded my Wii and running NeoGamma. I also have a modchip installed WiiKey 2.

My question is this: The New Super Mario Bros has the AP Protection....I know this.....and it needs to be scrubbed in order to play.....Do all the NEW games have this AP on them or just the New Super Mario Bros ?

I just downloaded the scrubbed backup of Super Mario Bros and it works great on NeoGamma ....I'm running 4.2U.

This site rocks by the way =) .

    i have found
that if you rip the games from the wii to the hdd there is no scrubbing if you are USB loading
over wifi dump to the computer then you will have to scrub it... and then you can patch the main.dol with the generic wii pathcer...

and all the games that i dl they are already scrubbed and they work (most of the time)

So far only NSMB has this "protection" on it (BCA); there is a thread on NSMB in terms of getting it to run over here, but sounds like you don't need it. It does have an IOS update --- you ought to have Priiloader or similar installed, and disable disc-based update prompts with it.

Back to in general: the first replier is correct in that if you use the WBFS application or even USG Loader GX, it'll strip/scrub the disc of unnecessary files when you copy it over to the drive.
