    Grounding myself when installing modchip?

    Do you recommend using something to ground myself when installing the unit?

    Yes.. If you dont have one.. you are good.. too..
    Grounding would be a precaution.. me as an example..
    I dont ground myself.. Try modding your Wii away from carpet..

    looks like this will be harder than i thought... looks like I have to take a sharp knife to take the square things off ;(

    I use an antistatic bracelet, works well. Its recommended if you encounter static. A small zap of static electricity can do irreversible damage.

    Most people don't have this or wear one, but if you have a computer case or something like that connect the metal of it to you and you'd be good.

    To take of the square pieces use an exacto knife

    Half the videos show them using a knife and the other half shows them using a flathead

    lol already kinda ruined some of the plastic on the siding but who cares I'm not gonna ever sell it anyway :P
