Wii Restarts when I try to run Games of a Drive

    Hey all,
    It's me again!

I have the latest USB Loader GX installed for 4.2e system, and when I go to boot Wii Sports Resort the Wii just restarts.
    Is this normal or not?
    And can it be fixed?
(oh by the way this is the only game I have right now on the Drive (I have formatted the drive using the latest WBSF manager.(and followed the right instructions to put the .iso on the drive)))

    Thanks in Advance,
    -Rilez-

Oh and I just realised when the GX loader boots, it says:
"Loading IOS236, IOS not found, reLoading into IOS36"
    Is that normal?

Have you played Wii Sports Resort before? If you don't have a save from the official disc that skips PAST the Instruction Video, the Wii will reboot to the System Menu. I have Wii Sports Resort working fine on my drive as one of my friends owns the retail copy and I have played it on there. Even so, with the game working perfectly, if I click on "Instructional Video" at the title screen, the Wii will reset. So there's nothing wrong with your loader as far as I can tell, but you need to get your hands on a retail disc to get a save file of the game that is past the instruction video or else it won't load.

There is a guide for that game somewhere on the site. Something about using the alternate .dol file from the sd card until the movie is watched, then it can be played normal. I haven't fooled with it myself but always run into guides for thing around here. Search, i'm sure it is here.

Yep, and for those too lazy to search (I recently had this page bookmarked as I only ripped the ISO two days ago now), click.

    Thanks Guys,

I will follow what you have said,
But will this do it for all games that I put on the drive?

    Thanks Yet again

This game is problematic and requires the workaround we have pointed you in the direction of. Most games are easy to get going some are not. there is a games section in the forum you can look through.
