    DVD Read Error 1053

I'm trying to burn Super Smash Bros Brawl on a DVD+R DL disc and each attempt has created a coaster. I set my layer break to 2084960. I don't think its the Wii because I successfully burned Animal Crossing on a DVD-R.

maybe i have a different iso than your trying to burn, but i did'nt need to use a dual layer disc, and mine works fine, have you tried to put it on a normal dvd-r yet?

My .iso was about 7 gigs. From what I've been hearing the smaller ones have video scenes cut out of them.

funny thing is my iso is almost 7 gb too. just looked it up on my hdd. i dont use the disc anymore, it loads from usb loader gx, and that tells me the size. it fit on a single layer disc.

My son had the original game for over a year till he damaged it. I got him the dvd-5 version that has some video cut out, but he can't tell the difference.

I'll try the DVD-R DL. Do any stores sell them or do I have to order them. I noticed bestbuy/walmart don't carry them.

hmmm I never thought they were an unusual product. More likely they are popular and sold out most places this time of year.
