    Question complete newbie needing help!

OK I have a had a little search and nothing seems to answer my question!, I have (after a long while) succesfully downloaded HBC etc and everything fine there, but unfortunately I do not have a usb pen or dvd writer (only dvd player on laptop and cd writer) is there any way i can download games onto laptop and connect my laptop to wii through usb as i have a small connector this end and put the larger usb connection to wii? or is there a way I could download games onto SD card and play from there (8GB sandisk SDHC card)? Not that the little usb pens are expensive or anything its just that as its the holiday season I am less likely to get one til I go shopping which isn't til tuesday so just looking to see if this is an option til i get one?

I know of no SD card loaders for Wii games, but if I were you I'd just invest in a USB HDD they're aren't that expensive and you can get one that will hold all the games you could ever want for under $75.

thank you I will try that route, oly thing is I wouldn't know how to use one and probably end up bugging my younger brother to death to do it for me, as he is the one that has the HBC and all the latest games and wouldn't tell me how and I had to search everyewhere til i found this site for myself, all I want is the new silent hill game and I have heard it isn't out here in the uk yet so want it til it becomes available!.

USB loading is real easy, just read the guides here and you'll be fine.

    Wink Usb uk

I'm also in the UK I bought a HDD from ebay for under 50 I have over a hundred games on it. I can play PAL RF & NTSC games on it so new releases from the states are not a problem. Do a little more research on here, You should find the answers. I'm running with usb_loader GX. I partion the drive 1.5 GB FAT for my WII data files, (I can then run straight from HDD) No SD card required. I then format the rest of drive with WBFS. You can load games from ISO files on Laptop, You could lone games from pals & load direct with Wii console, Try it, It explains itself.

    Enjoy.
