Question External HD for Wii - FAT32 Only?

Apologies if this is a dumb question but I'm planning on buy a 1TB external USB HD. I want it to use for streaming mkv, wmv, mpg4 etc, etc from my PC to my TV and eventually Blu Ray player and network streamer (when I get them!) what I want to know is can I make partitions on the HD and format one as FAT32 and the other as NTFS or do I have to format the whole HD in FAT32 in order to play Wii back-ups?

You can make as many types of partitions as the program you are using will allow. The main thing is if you want to play wii backup games, you need a reasonably sized wbfs partition to be primary.

Thanks for the reply. I've just read the "Loading and Playing Wii Backup Games from USB HDD" guide and correct me if I'm wrong but I only need the FAT32 partition for homebrew, loaders and other apps? I can store the games in the NTFS partition?
