Thread: update 4.1 to 4.2 with homebrew?

    Smile update 4.1 to 4.2 with homebrew?

    i got new wii games but i cant use them unless i update :/
    is their something i can do to still be able to update with homebrew?
    can i update by deleting it?

    just install pre/priiloader to stop disc updates, u should not really update to 4.2.

    There is no reason to update your system menu to play games, unless you are using a modchip. in that case there is really no other way. softmodders can update their cios, install an additional one like hermes, and install ios files as needed.

    yea me either, so if a new game comes out that requires an updated cios and/or ios file, i install them. no system update needed.

    delete what?ios? never delete any IOS or u might brick, just update over the old one?
