Thread: WiiFlow

    WiiFlow

I'm on 4.2E Wii, i've had neogamma and similar stuff installed but that doesn't work with the games I want, I have cIOS 38 rev 14.

I downloaded WiiFlow, did everything correctly, I went to the homebrew channel and I picked WiiFlow 249, it asked me to put the usb in port 0, it was already there so I restarted and it gave me the same error. I tried it with 220 but that would just give me a black screen.

I then decided to install the wad. I put the usb in port 0, loaded the wad channel but it restarted and went straight back to system menu. What am I doing wrong?

Make sure you're using the latest revision, downloaded here: Downloads - wiiflow - Project Hosting on Google Code

If you are already, you could try reinstalling your cIOS and see if it works then.

Are you trying to play games from a usb device? have you been able to play any games before from that device? have you made certain that device is compatible?

Is wiiscrub supposed to reduce the size of the file, I tried to scrub mario and sonic winter olympics, still comes out the same size.

No need to scrub, they'll scrub down automatically when you add them using wbfs manager.

Mario and sonic scrubbed down by a gig whereas new super mario bros went down to 0.45gb

That's normal. Scrubbing deletes useless data and updates and leaves only the necessary game information. Many games don't even come close to 4GB. Wii Play scrubs down to around 120MB or so, and I think Smarty Pants was even less.

Any idea why both mario and sonic olympic games are 3+ gb?
