I would keep the bootmii folder and nand and keys.bin somewhere safe.
hey guys, i just did a backup to my NAND. but i have a question..when i put back my sd card in my computer, i saw the file "nand.bin" i know i need to keep that safe to use if my wii gets bricked, but is there another file i should keep safe?
Older versions of bootmii do not give you your key.bin. Only beta3 and above will.
The key.bin contains your consoles uniques keys and IDs. You can upgrade but a NAND Backup is good enough, though it may be useful to have your keys.bin
ok, last question, i download the hackmii instraller v.0.6. it comes with many files, 2 read me files a credits file, a lisence file and a boot.elf and a wiiload folder..from what i understand, i need to put the boot.elf in the apps folder in my SD card right??
It should go in a sub folder before the apps folder, so your sd card should look like this (where as X is the drive letter of your card)
dude, u are now officialy the albert einstein of wii hacks hahahaha, do u knw anything about DVDx? i tried installing it using the bannerbomb thingy, but it didnt work, gave me some kind of error..do u think this one could work?
What error code did you get?
Also because of the new titles in then new installer, DVDx isn't of much use yet, its better to use MPlayer CE for now.
