    gc disc issues

    Hey Guys,

This is my first time trying to load wii/gc games, and its not going so well, I downloaded a chibi-robo iso (ntsc-u) and used imgburn to burn it to a dvd-r. When I start it in Neogamma R8 b7, I get a green screen and then my wii turns off. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Old games work fine in other emulators like Snes 9x. By the way I used this guide to softmod my wii so it should answer some questions: http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...d-any-wii.html.

    Please help and thanks!

Ahh, that is nowhere near what preloader is for. Google mios and find out what it is for.

I did, so mios is strictly for gamecube mode huh? So my question is once I install a MIOS can I use the same utility Neogamma R8 b7 to run gamecube games on dvd-r or do I need a different channel/program? Can I boot off an sd? Thanks for the input btw.

I use neogamma for gamecube backups just fine. Download MultiGame ISO creator, so you can fit 3 or 4 gamecube games on 1 dvd-r.

no friggin way, multiple games on one disc? Does it install a menu selector or something onto the disc? Anyway its good to hear that there has been success with this. Last time I went into softmodding over the summer I updated too soon and there was no compatibility for 4.0u, which is sucessfully softmodded at the moment. Trying to install cMIOS rev03 right now

ok, I am having problems installing MIOS I'm using the file cMIOS-Rev3-installer.dol, and no matter where I put it, it won't show up in the homebrew channel I've tried both the apps directory and root.

make sure it isn't a folder inside another folder situation. sd:\apps\mios installer\boot.dol
