Menu 4.2 update and no more HBC installation possible

    Hello people.

Today i decided make some changes in my 4.1E softmod wii.

I decided format all my wii and update to 4.2E system using the system update menu in Wii.

Well, my preloader and HBC channel dissapear and no more could run backups.

The worst thing is that i already try install the HBC by Hackmii menu (booting by .elf in SD card menu).. and i canno't install HBC because the only option that i can select is EXIT.

The applicattion said that i have no vulnerable IOS's & that it cannot be installed and the only option that i could select is EXIT..

    Any solution?

What did you think would happen? lol. Look in the guides section before you do anymore harm. There is a guide for the no vulnerable ios.

formatting your wii thru your wii system menu does not really format it like you would wish....

As for a solution i am unsure... I dont think you should have done what you did though...I maybe wrong, but im pretty sure.

    Problem already solved:

    I follow this tutorial:

1- download that zipfile from here (4shared.com - online file sharing and storage - download Fix.zip) and unzip the contents into the root of an empty SD card.
2- click the SD icon on the Wii then insert the card in the wii click yes
3- the wad manager will launch choose ios 250 ,and then choose the SD card and choose the file named (IOS36-64-v1042.wad) and install it and then restart wii
4- now download the hackmii installer latest version and extract the file boot.elf after deleting the previous boot.dol from the root of ur SD card
5- click the SD icon on the Wii then insert the card in the wii click yes
6- you can now install homebrewchannel, bootmii and dvdx
