Making a WiiWare game act like a regular game in USBLoader??
Hi there, I'm new. It's nice to see you all, and the information on this site is just amazing.
I recently joined the land of modded wiis (what a wonderful land it is) and just about have everything how I want it (thanks in large part to this site) except one thing...
I use priiloader to skip the wii menu and launch directly into USBLoader GX on startup. This looks just great, gives me the exact feel i'm looking for, and I LOVE it, but I was wondering if there is any way to make USBLoader believe that a ww game (mostly just World of Goo, really) is a regular game? Someway to make a shortcut perhaps?
If that sounds confusing, what I want is to scroll through my games and have WoG be there as well. I can create box art and all that jazz, but is this even possible? I'm really just trying to eliminate the main wii menu all together where games are concerned.
Thanks for any help in advance, guys. I truly love love love this site.

I just can't get over how clean it looks right off of start up.
no, wiiware don't work on usb loader. You're best bet is Triiforce, it's a NAND emulator, that will display your Wiiware on a menu that looks like a uLoader menu. Don't be scared of the word NAND, triiforce is nothing more than an emulator, it just requires a little more work on your part to get it running.

Thanks for the quick reply.
What I'm looking to do is not necessarily run the game through the loader. I am just wondering if there is any way to create a shortcut to someplace else on the wii (SD, Wii internal) inside of the loader, and make it look like a game.
Sorry if it sounds confusing. I'm trying to make it clear but it is a bit awkward to describe, I suppose.
No, I asked in the USB Loader CFG forum, and there is no plans on adding NAND emulation or Wiiware/VC games to the CFG loader. Maybe in the future one of the USB Loaders will support loading Wiiware/VC games. So, NAND emulation is all we get for now, sure beats installing to the menu.
Well thanks again for the reply.
I love the clean interface of USBL so much that I just basically want my whole system (aesthetically) to center around that. Oh well, I guess beggars can't be choosers!
Also, after endless searching (here and elsewhere) it seems like there is really no way to play a WW game off of a burned disc (as a workaround to load onto USBL). If anybody knows a way to burn them to play, that would work too...but like I said, it seems to be an idea that has been abandoned.
