Thread: ISO Size?

    ISO Size?

I partitioned my hard drive and everything.I have the torrents of the games I want.I just want to make sure what I'm doing is right.
I have to use 7zip to extract the ISO from the torrents rar files. Then I load the ISO into WBFS Manager. Is that correct?

I did that with Band Hero and Rock Band 2.The weird thing is Band Hero is 3.96
GB on the hard drive but Rock Band 2 is only 2.54 GB.It seemed weird to me.Is that just how big Rock Band 2 is?

Edit: If it makes any difference this is where I downloaded the torrent from.

But doesn't 2.46 seem to small? Can anyone that downloaded rock band 2 tell me how big their file was?

All Single layer wii games are padded to 4.37 GB. The actual game data size may vary. When an iso is scrubbed the padding or junk data is replaced with compressible zeroes. Allowing it to be compressed to approximately the size of the game data. Some actual games' data are even smaller than 2 GB, For example, the actual game data for New Super Mario Bros. Wii is around 300 - 500 MB

Like Trekster said, don't worry about the size. Once it works fine.

Nevermind I fixed it.I deleted the ISO off the hard drive and then put it in there again. This time it was 3.36 gb.It was weird.Any Idea why that would happen?
