    D2Pro Problems

I apologize if this has been previously asked but my wii which is uses the D2Pro does not read some of the newer backups. When I place it in the machine it locks up and I must power it down to get it to work again because once I try to play a new backup it will not play older backups or originals until I turn it off. Any suggestions:

I downloaded the D2Pro USA Utility and tried to do a firmware update but it still does the same thing. The utility says I'm at HW v2.5 and FW1.7.

A couple of games that will not work are My Fitness Coach and Gold's Gym.

Please advise and thanks in advance for your help.

I have a D2pro V3 fitted to my PAL wii and up dated from 4.1 to 4.2 and it can no longer play out of region disks. Do you know what version you are running?

4.2 won't alow any region. it must be from your region

3.1-4.1 Softmod Tutorial (Works on all wii's!)

    Wii 4.1u | Bootmii (IOS) | Priiloader 0.2 (Rev 32) | HBC 1.0.6 | Neogamma R8 Beta 7 and Neogamma RC3* | USB Loader GX REV 919

It's at 4.2 so the games must be from a region other than US. I know I can't download PAL only NSTC, is that correct?
Thanks for the quick assistance, at least now I know it's not my wii.
I take it there is no way to play out of region disks on 4.2.

well there is no way on 4.2 using that particular modchip alone. but if you have looked around at all since you have been here, you will see we have guides for softmodding and are answering many questions about it. have a look at the 4.2 softmod guide in the guides section.

My mod was done almost 2 years ago. Thanks anyway and I'm off to the guides section.
