    Channel Screen Music

Is there any way to get rid of that terribly annoying bell music on the main channels startup screen ? I went thru the settings and searched here with no luck.

    1) Volume button on your TV remote would probably do a good job.

    2) Boot straight to USB Loader GX, Wiiflow etc by using Preloader option.

    3) Theme installation (only consider if you have bootmii/boot2 installed).

priiloader also has a hack for removing background music and also removing all sounds

#2 sounds good for several reasons. I have USB Loader and Preloader already installed. How do I do it and still maintain the ability to load with the main screen in case I need to change settings , load disc or get to HBC ?

Also in preloader you can enable the "no sound at all" hack.

Not fiddled with Preloader myself but you can assign a boot.dol to be loaded by Preloader/Priiloader instead of System Menu. GX itself has rudimentary HBC launching code but if you set return to System Menu then that should load once you exit GX. Failing that you can boot to Preloader by holding reset to get to Sys Menu or HBC at will.

For the preloader question. Change the first boot setting to Installed file or HBC. Then change the return to setting systemmenu. If you change the return to setting to HBC or installed file you wont be able to get to systemmenu except by accessing pr(e/ii)oader

I loaded preloader when I did the softmod. How do I get back into it to make the suggested changes ? If I click on it in HBC it just what to reload it.

shut off the wii hold reset then press power. Hold reset until preloader comes up
