    Ide to usb

I have like 3 IDE hard drives laying around the house and I was wondering if it would be compatible with the wii if I bought this

3.5 IDE TO USB 2 Caddy For Ultra ATA HD Hard Disk Drive on eBay (end time 14-Jan-10 20:00:00 GMT)

Sorry if it's already been asked but I couldnt find it

Look up the compatibility list link in the usb loading link in my signature. There's an enclosure section there. Buy one from that list and you'll increase your chances. I'd imagine its a roll of the dice as to which hdd will work in it even if it is compatible though. If nothing else, enclosures are a handy thing to have. I've got about 4.

Junk is right, it's more so the enclosure that matters not the drive. There is a link in my sig for the compatibility list.

Thanks for the input guys but another question, just so it's clearer in my mind. I have a PsP 1000 with an 8GB duo stick inside, from that link it says it works via usb loader.

The PSP is not fast enough to conect to the usb loader but if you make a game channel and install a game from you pc and start the channe it boots the game (this atleast work with a 8gb mpd so thats how it works (maby this is a solution for other hdd that are not fast enough to connect
What extactly does it mean by installing the game from my pc? little confused, I have usb loader on my channel already btw

Hrm, never heard of that [the PSP being too slow]. I know you can make a channel for a game, but never had to do it myself. But I would just avoid that aggrivation and just buy a nice USB HDD. That seems like a lot of work just to get your PSP to play a game from it.

You would have to contact someone on GBA Temp, as they are the ones that maintain the list.
