Question mixed controllers for multiplayer games

    hi everyone ,

I'd love to play some multi-player (3 or more player) games with my family

we've got two wiimotes & one GC controller

I've been able to make the GC controller work with Smash Brothers Brawl, but so far that's the only one I've found where you can mix controller types

are there any others that I'm not aware of ?

I've a plan to try with some GC games, assuming they work with wiimotes

GC games do not support Wiimote. Most games are fussy as to which controller you use. Just buy more Wiimotes if you need more than 2 players. Don't buy Classic controllers though as the GC controller is just as good.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

Most wii games can mix controls easily. Me and my sister play with wiimote and GC at the same time on brawl. Just be sure to insert the GC controller in the correct port. As for GC games, I think only classic wii controllers work on them besides GC games.

    Ca

I've tried several out of my 30+ game collection & only Brawl & Mario Kart works with a GC controller & wiimote at the same time

I'm trying to see what I can dig up on Nintendo's master list, but I don't think you can filter on multiplayer

The multiplayer on sonic secret rings worked with gc and remote. Its a matter of does the game support it fully function.
