What is semi-brick and a full brick?

I dont seem to be able to identify my set with the discriptions i read around regarding what is a brick.

I'm using the wiikey and tried to update the firmware n stuff and it's now screwed.

I cannot play my original games, but i can still access my settings and surf around with it.

Any ideas how i can try to restore it?

    Thanks!

You gotta be more specific with what you do with your wiikey. Like what happened while you were updating it? How did you screw it up by updating the firmware? have you tried reupdating the firmware? if you can still access setting and surf around your wii is not brick or semi-brick. Go to Wiikey's website for more info on it.

    thanks for the reply.

i tried to play super mario galaxy world and it updated my wii. I could still play my backups and originals.

So i updated the wiikey with the 1.9g disc and then i couldn't play my backups but could still play originals. So i tried using the gcos to change some settings then now i cannot play both original and backups.
