Question about Softmod in general
Hi complete newb here,
I had my friend try softmodding my Wii about couple months ago and it did not work because he said something about Softmod not supporting my Wii because it is the Japanese Ver. Is this true? and if I mess up, will my wii break?
I am pretty sure that just cause it's japanese, that these mods will still work. You could also change the region of your Wii [i'm just not sure of the name of the utility to do this so search is your best bet]. Since this is your first post here,

I just have another question regarding softmodding the wii. If I make a mistake while I am softmodding, will the Wii get damaged (non-playable)?

There is a chance of brick, but by following directions the chances are slim.
