Listening to local radio stations via wii ??

Help - just wonder what the best method would be for using the wii to listen into one off your local radio stations internet steam ?? have downloaded wiiradio from the homebrew channel but unfortunatly althought there is a lot off channels to choose from there is nothing based here in the uk, also tried mplayer ce but still nothing within that covers local uk radio stations - scottish ones if I was to be really picky !!!

anyone advise if there is anything else out there that would allow me to listen to a few local stations who I know for sure also stream via the net.

    thank you

*stupid question* (sorry, we're new to Wii hacking!): Are you able to do OTHER things on the Wii, *while* Wiiradio is playing (like play games at the same time, etc)?

Nope, it has to be closed out of to load anything else.

That's what I figured, I just wanted to make sure. I guess we'll wait on considering the radio thing for now, since we can listen to it on our computer instead... We'll see if we decide to go for it later.

Are there any features that make it worthwhile to have it on your Wii in the first place, over just listening to radio over the internet on your computer???

Yeah it's a little sluggish for me. The stream does come through nice, though. I only use it when I'm really, really bored.
