Thread: please help my wife bought new Mario....

    Us please help my wife bought new Mario....

    ok i had my system soft modded with 3.2U and was able to play Wii backups and NGC backup fine, then my wife bought the NEW Super Mairo Bros. and not i can't play anybackups....did it auto update? if so how do i fix? or do i have to redo my Twilight Princess hack all over again.................please help!?!?!?!

    It seems like it updated, you should be on the 4.1 system menu now. No you don't have to do twilight anymore, we are past that mod anymore. Just look in my sig there is a link for modding 3.1-4.1 system menus.

    hey thanks......i'll try....hopefully it works......another question....what GB should Wii backups be 4.35GB or 3.99GB???

    They can be a few different sized depending on if they are scrubbed or not. Scrubbing means removing the updating section of the disc. For example Animal Crossing scrubbed is actually only about 58mbs [yes i said megabytes] but unscrubbed it's like 3 gb.

    ok....i get it.....i had been "patching" or "scrubbing" all my game and they where becoming 3.99GB before bunning them.....but now RE Darkside chronicles won't let me.....is that a problem?.......hey fyi my wii didn't update it still says 3.2U....should i up date to 4.1U?...if so how?

    You don't need to update to 4.1, but if you wanted too you would use Waninkokos SAFE 4.1 updater [only thing you will get with the 4.1 menu thats of any great use is the ability to play VC/WiiWare games off an SD card and you will also get 20 channel pages on the Wii itself]. I would also suggest installing Preloader and BootMii if possible [if you havn't already]. Preloader is great Brick Protection [it will also keep discs from updating the console] and BootMii is a great restore solution in case you totally brick your Wii.
