BCA Data protection should i be worried?

    hi guys,

hopefully this is a very simple question to answer so here goes.

i have been reading a liitle about the BCA Data protection that is on some of the new games that are being release (New Super Mario and Avatar for example), as i only use USB loader GX do i need to install any ios's or fixes.

    my current setup is:
    wii softmod
    3.2u
    cios 14 rev b
    USB loader GX upto date
ios 55 and a few others to play wii ware channels.

I dont burn disks and havent done since i put usb loader GX on so will i need anything else?

    Thanks guys

There will be patches available to get these games to run, so i wouldn't worry too much about it at the moment.

Do you think its worth me updating to 4.1 or 4.2 firmware using wanikoko cios downgrader?

DO NOT update to 4.2. Its a homebrew killer and good for nothing. It will not help with this new check from nintendo.

Just to be clear, yes 4.2 is an homebrew killer, but you can re-install homebrew in the case you do "accidentally" upgrade. If you would like to go to 4.1 you can using Waninkokos SAFE 4.1 updater [this will keep all your homebrew intact [waninkoko also has a SAFE 4.2 updater as well]. There is very little reason to update though, so don't fix what isn't broken. But junkmailturds is absolutely correct, this update will not help the game in any way shape or form.

As far as the channel question, i'm not sure. I use a foreworder for my loader and when you update via USB Loader GXs update feature, it automatically updates everything for me.
