i do know you need a lg drive to read originals as for backup dvd i am not sure, i have not tried this method my self. daft question but did you try to just copy the dvd with nero or like? 2gb sounds small, which game is it? or what size is the torrent file of the same title from the same regioni'm copying the backup of the game from the backup DVD to my HD. it's in .iso format and is usually roughly 2GB in size.
wierd, if you set it at 1x it should burn at 1x unless you got a setting wrong. i don't know on that one, as i said i never tried your method b4 but imgburn has all ways worked 4 me with torrent iso filesi'm then using imgburn to burn it at the lowest speed possible. when i set it for 1X, it usually still burns at 2.4X.
i take it that the game you trying to copy works on yo wii? and the "burned games" you bought some where? you have never burned a game that works via other methods (torrent/burn) or have you just tried this method(rip/burn). if you getting a game loading screen you all most there but iv'e had that trouble b4 with a dying burner doing sloppy burns, but i knew it had worked b4 on many a burn(too many LOL) to fail at the loading screenI'm using maxell DVD+R
I have now been able to get the title screen for the game to show on my wii but when i go to fire the game up, i get an "eject the disk error and turn the power off." i've played burned games on my machine so i know that they work, but i've just never been able to burn one myself.
try other methods and other media first, quality verbs +/- seem to work well, you do get what you pay 4. find a brand and +/- that work and stick to it.
good luck hope i helped, even a little?
