Dump to HDD via Usb Loader GX question?

I am in the process of backing up all my DVD's to HDD, using USB Loader GX.
I am about 20 games in, and one of my discs stopped dumping (because of dirty/damaged DVD.)

Without a way to cancel the dump, I was forced to stop the Wii by holding the power button. So my questions are, not knowing how sensitive the WBFS format is.

    Did I corrupt my HDD?
    Or will this be ok?

If I created a problem, I want to find out now, before I load my remaining 30 games.

Thanks so much for your input.

The only way for you to find out is to try out the hard drive. Load some games, see if it works and then keep using as normal. If it does, you'll have your answer. If not, time to pick up a new hard drive.

So long as the discs weren't actively being written to when you powered off, and it sounds like they weren't, it should be fine.

The speed said 0.0 so hopefully it will be OK.

Is there a "proper" way to terminate a dump if it gets stuck?

Not really. If the system hangs, the system hangs. Not much to be done about it. The best thing you can do in that situation is just make sure the disc isn't being written to when you power off.
