    Bad blocks?

During my usual monthly nand backup it showed 2 bad blocks while going. I left to post this so idk if anymore popped up. Is this bad? How to fix it?

It's nothing to worry about. It's a standard thing and I believe either 60 or 80 is the cut off for being a bad backup. You're more than good if you only have under 10 or so, which is probably what will happen.

Yea I agree. Its basically impossible to have your entire nand be bad block free. I think I had a total of 6 bad blocks when I ran mine, but I havent done that again in awhile. Maybe it would be a good time to run another one since I have done some updating to my console.
If I have helped you in any way, please thank me by pressing the little thanks button.

Yea I had a total of 4. I guess it belongs to something saved. If I cleaned out my unused game saves it might even go away. But this is the first I have had bad NAND blocks.

From what I understand about this, it has more to do with your SD card than your wii. I wouldn't even worry about it. I see it as being similar to when you defragment your hard drive and see something like a bad sector. The single bad sector doesn't matter because it's 1 out of 348457593 sectors.

Hmm, well, the backup, after its down checking it all it seems to write over it all with green blocks, and then it does the quick check. Idc, as long as its not going to hurt anything.
