    which sandisk 2gb

    hi all
    new to all of this
    been reading up on using a hard drive instead of a chip to play games
    which sandisk card do you recommend
    a plain sandisk 2gb sd or the one made for the wii
    thanks

    Just a plain Sandisk 2GB SD card

    any sandisk sd card will do if your planning on using a usb hdd to hold games.

    a 2gb card is big enough to run homebrew off and bigger is really just overkill.

    This is definately not true, there have been some problems with SanDisk Ultra IIIs and the Wii. It just don't like 'em. I know from personal experience, as well as an added trip to Mr. BigBox Store.

    The safest way to go is a SanDisk 2gb non-SDHC card. They have the best compatibility.
