Thread: NSMB running from an SD card.

  1. #1

Us NSMB running from an SD card.

Ok, so I have it running from a Sandisk 2GB card loaded by NeoGamma.

So is it safe to assume that I can run any game iso this way?

Just wondering before I run right out and buy disks or an external HDD.

I have access to plenty of SD's so i'd settle for that.

Yes, you can play most of your game backup ISOs on SD if you have a lot of those available. As long as your SD cards have enough free space for the game ISO, you should be able to play. As alternatives while discs are inexpensive, using an external HDD will allow the games to load up faster and gameplay will be smoother than DVD disc.

I use uTorrent. once I had the iso file I used WBFS Manager 2.5 to first format the SD card and then second tranfer the iso file to the card. When it transfers to the SD card it shrinks the size from 4.3 GB's to 0.32 GB's. i could probably put another game on the card and will be trying it soon.
