not recommeded to update, homebrew is easy to install with the 4.0 hack pack which is floating around, i would try to find ios downgrader together with custom ios downgrader and take it down to a 3.2.............. i have no probs on mine and NSMB works fine once you have followed my post recently added.I believe updates are always there to try and stop the hackers and today i have confirmed working NSMB on old firmware with cIOS Corp installed.

Now what I dont understand is why you would ask us for advice but then go against what we said. First off you should never update a modded wii to begin with. If the update is to 4.2, you will most likely brick. If it was a disc update, then you would be fine BUT you probably lost some if not all your homebrew and therefore would have to start all over. You could have gotten that game to work on 4.1e if you just would have listened to us and did alittle reading. Heck I have that game working on 3.2U firmware without a problem. There just was no need to update but since you already did, try and get the game to work now.
If I have helped you in any way, please thank me by pressing the little thanks button.

Without the homebrew channel, you wont be able to install anything homebrew, including cios installers, wad manager, basically anything needed to run a game.

Is this game a burned copy, usb/sd card, or original copy?
